For new players embarking on this interstellar journey, here’s a quick guide to how treasure-hunting works in Monopoly GO! During Treasures events, you’ll use Pickaxes to unearth hidden treasures and complete levels for stellar rewards. Collect Pickaxes as you play—win them in tournaments, Quick Wins, milestones, and more.
As you dig, watch out for Blocks (which must be cleared to advance) and Stubborn Tiles (which require two taps to reveal hidden treasures). You’ll also encounter Exploding Critters, helpful companions that clear surrounding tiles or break a layer off a stubborn tile. Don’t worry about unused Pickaxes—they’ll automatically convert into dice rolls or cash at the end of the event!
